I am the definition of an extrovert. I love being around people and enjoy making them happy. I like being around people so much that if my husband is away for a night or two, it feels like I have been alone for an entire week. Don’t get me wrong, I like the odd lazy morning or pamper night to myself. But really, I am a people person. This means that I thrive off making my couples and their guests have the absolute best possible experience. One that is immersive, enchanting and full of love! Working in the luxury wedding industry is, therefore, perfect for me. Because my couples appreciate design-led weddings that are wholeheartedly about making a wedding personal to them, whilst simultaneously ensuring that everyone has an outrageously fun time.

I work with couples who want their wedding day to be one that is a true reflection of them and their love story. Where shared hobbies and interests, or the way they first met is emulated through the day in some way. I want your guests to leave your wedding having had the most sensational time and hear them saying ‘Wow, that was SO them!’.

It is true that my weddings are also design-led. This means that I think about the wedding holistically and how it will look and feel on the day. Stunning floral design is really important to capture this. I am inspired by nature, so I think seasonality is so important when it comes to picking flowers and a colour scheme. My incredibly creative Mum always says ‘if in doubt, look to nature.’ And she is so right. This helps drive the colour scheme and allows us to push boundaries with it. From the high-level design I can then focus closely on the smaller design details. Wine connoisseurs? Let’s design wine bottle labels specifically for your wedding wine! Want a wedding crest? Let’s add it to all the stationery, put it on some napkin bows, or even stitch it on to the bride’s veil and groom’s cuff! There are so many creative ways in which to make your wedding day totally unique to you and that’s what helps make the planning process all the more fun and exciting.

But above all, we need to make sure that YOU have the most incredible once-in-a-lifetime day. It’s easy to get so caught up in the planning and designing of a wedding that you forget what it’s really all about. Two people making a life-long commitment to each other. It really is one of the most beautiful chapters in two people’s lives. I ensure that on the day you have time together as just the two of you to absorb the moment and appreciate your commitment to one another. Weddings are emotional and at times overwhelming. Having all your friends and family in one place to celebrate your love is incredible but having that time alone to pause and reflect is so important.
