Freya Croisdale Weddings is a luxury wedding planning service based in Ilkley, Yorkshire and operating all over the UK. I create design-led, beautiful, innovative, and personal weddings that have you and your guests at their very centre. I work with couples who care about the design of their wedding, but also want it to be brilliantly fun for all who attend.
I am inspired by the beauty of the natural world. Nature inspires my choice of colour, texture and pattern. Equally, I take inspiration from you as a couple, to ensure the day is an honest reflection of you both and your love story.
I work with the very best suppliers in the industry and know the ones that will be perfect for you and your day. Every couple is different and you deserve to work with suppliers that truly understand you and your vision to ensure it is brought to life.
At the same time, I am so lucky to have my two wonderful sisters alongside me. Sophie, the in-house stationery designer, and Grace, the assistant on-the-day coordinator. 'It's a sister thing' is our motto - we just GET each other and it helps to make the whole design and planning process that much easier.

MEET FREYA
I love weddings. I love organisation. I love design. I love being creative. That makes me pretty well aligned to wedding design and planning. Wedding planners are the creative organisers. And organisation is absolutely what I am best at.
When I’m not busy wedding planning, you’ll probably find me at a spin class, walking my gorgeous Pyredoodle called Pedro up Ilkley Moor, or singing my way around the house. When I was just 3 I was belting out ‘My Heart Will Go On’ in the back of the car and haven’t stopped singing since! I love exploring new countries and their landscapes; some of my favourite places I’ve been to include Tofino on Vancouver Island, the fjords of Norway, the Masai Mara and Mumbai. I’m desperate to explore South America next, with its incredible scenery and culture.
My love of flowers is no secret. Floral design is central to my wedding designs. This is because my designs are inspired by the natural world and I love to incorporate nature into your day. Nature inspires my choice of colour, pattern and texture, to create a sensory wedding day that emulates your love story.
Uniquely, I was a Geography teacher for 6 years, planning weddings on the side. Teachers have to be hyper-organised, responsive to any situation, think quickly on their feet, and plan continuously! I took a leap of faith and pursued my passion of becoming a full-time wedding planner and haven’t looked back.
