The person behind the brand: A little bit about me…

I have always been OBSESSED with weddings. I have also always loved floristry and appreciated floral design. I am highly organised and incredibly ambitious. Combine all of that together and you get me, Freya, luxury wedding planner and stylist.

But the truth is that I haven’t always been a wedding planner. I was a Geography teacher in London and the southeast. However, having become disillusioned in my career and with a secret goal of always wanting to own my own business and be a wedding planner, I made the decision to leave teaching. I think, like most people, the pandemic gave me a new perspective. And yes, whilst I hate to bring up Covid, I think it is important to acknowledge the impact it has had on us all. It made me realise what was really important to me and how I wanted to live my life. From that, I made the courageous decision to quit the 9-5 to launch my own business.

I love being outside, being active, the countryside, warm fires, travelling the world, beautiful flowers and epic weddings! I truly love being organised, giving advice and being creative. I am so passionate about my business and the luxury wedding industry. It is a beautiful, competitive and innovative industry to work in. It’s incredible how female-entrepreneur dominated the wedding industry is - let’s go girls!
