‘It’s a sister thing’: our brand identity

I am the founder, wedding designer, planner and business owner of Freya Croisdale Weddings and it is my name all over the company. But I am being supported by my two incredible sisters, giving us our identity of ‘It’s A Sister Thing’. We just GET each other. When I decided to pursue my passion and become an entrepreneur in the wedding industry, it was made so much less daunting knowing that I had two creative sisters that would be able to join me on the journey. And thanks to the both of them, I am living out my dream.

Sophie - the eldest. Sophie is a true artist, having studied Art at A Level and then Architecture at University. She is a full-time architect, absolutely excelling in her career. Yet the artist in her has never left and, as such, she designs hand-painted wedding stationery on the side. It is this talent that I have harnessed and made part of Freya Croisdale Weddings. We are in a unique position in the industry - to be able to offer full planning services, as well as stationery design packages. It means that the first thing your guests see - the save the date - is honestly a true reflection of what your wedding will be like, because Sophie and I will have worked on it together to ensure your wedding stationery truly emulates your love story.

Grace - the youngest. Grace is a musical creative. She sings and plays the piano, having studied Contemporary and Popular Music at University. She also has an incredible eye for style. Whilst at University, Grace worked in weddings and events, assisting planners on the wedding day. Launching Freya Croisdale Weddings and bringing Grace on board as the assistant on-the-day coordinator was, therefore, a no-brainer. She’s already worked on some of the biggest luxury weddings in the country and knows how they run and, more importantly, how to ensure that you have the most incredible stress-free day. Together, we have so much fun bringing all the designs and planning to life on your big day.

Freya - the middle(ist). So that leaves me - the second born (we also have a brother between me and Grace!). Music and sport were my two passions growing up and I still sing at any opportunity and exercise regularly. It wasn’t until I graduated from University, however, that I began to explore my interest in and love of flowers, embarking on a few floristry courses. This got my creative juices flowing and my ambition to launch my own business was palpable. If my friends and family were to describe me in a few words, highly organised and a lover of love and weddings would absolutely be some that were mentioned. Being a luxury design-led wedding planner combines my love of design, nature and weddings. I consider it a true privilege to work with you to design and curate your luxury wedding that reflects everything you as a couple are about.
